There has been a fair bit happening recently in wine shows and awards that is worth recording.
Awards and Accolades
- The Xanadu Reserve Cabernet, 2022 from Margaret River, was named Best Cabernet in Show at the prestigious Decanter World Wine Awards in London.
- The Isabel Estate Wild Barrique Chardonnay, 2022 from New Zealand, was named International Wine of the Year at the London Wine Competition.
- Brokenwood has been named a finalist for Winery of the Year, and Stuart Horden and Kate Sturgess are shortlisted for Winemaker of the Year.
- Tom Ward, owner and winemaker of Swinging Bridge, is a finalist for Viticulturist of the Year.
